Bio
Gary Gluck, DVM, is a small animal veterinarian based in Dayville, Connecticut. He attended the University of Connecticut and achieved a BS in Animal Science. He’s been BS-ing ever since.
He left home to attend the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison and graduated in 2001. He uses the term “attend” loosely, since he really spent most of his time enjoying all the fun Madison had to offer. In his opinion, he learned his life lessons at The Terrace.
In 2002, he bought a practice and had a blast growing it. He sold that one and opened Companion Veterinary Health Center in 2014. He started a mindfulness practice in 2013 because Tim Ferriss told him to. Actually, Tim didn’t tell him directly, but through his podcasts about high achievers/top performers/generally awesome people.
He decided to be like every other person with an internet connection and an opinion, and started a blog in 2018. He hopes it will benefit at least one veterinarian who struggles with the ups and downs on the roller coaster that is daily whirlwind of a veterinary practice.
Gary loves French Bulldogs, a good knock-knock joke, prepping for the zombie apocalypse, and bacon-flavored chocolate chip cookies.
